Te Auaha - Tapere Iti

We’re stoked to bring the Comedy Fest back to Te Auaha this year. Te Auaha - the New Zealand Institute of Creativity, opened last year and is a state-of-the-art, six storey creative hub in a prime spot on the corner of Cuba and Dixon Streets. Te Auaha is home to multiple fabulous venues including two theatres – Tapere Nui and Tapere Iti.

Tapere Iti is the ‘Little Theatre’ of Te Auaha, but the line-up sure isn’t little, with a brilliant programme of top comedians who’ll be creating big laughs throughout the Festival. 

As well as being Wellington’s hottest new venue, Te Auaha NZ Institute of Creativity is a world-class tertiary education institution delivering leading programmes in creativity and innovation, creating a vibrant creative hub in the heart of the city.  Make sure you make it to a show at Te Auaha, it’s a must see!
